Group Tuition

Through the Instrumental Tuition Scheme lessons are given to small groups of pupils at similar stages of learning. Teachers ensure the individual needs of pupils are met whilst enabling pupils to work at developing ensemble and listening skills at an early stage. The majority of lessons take place during the school day at the pupil’s own school but occasionally centralised tuition is offered at one of our City Music Centres after school.

The Instrumental Tuition Scheme offers:

• An Introductory Course of 10 lessons followed by a progress report
• 30 minutes per lesson
• 30 lessons delivered during the 38 available school weeks
• Twice yearly progress reports
