Rhythmix

Rhythmix, the Youth Music Action Zone for the South East, was created through a partnership between Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, Medway and Surrey Music Services with the aims of widening the range of musical opportunities available to young people as well as increasing access.

As the project has become an increasingly familiar part of the local music landscape, the emphasis of the project has shifted from providing a large number of activities for first time experience students into supporting projects that are able to offer local young people a chance to take part in long term sustained activities.

Rhythmix have appointed Lucy Stone as Regional Co-ordinator for Brighton & Hove, she will be based at here at Brighton & Hove Music and Performing Arts. As well as managing the Rhythmix programme Lucy will be identifying potential new projects and partnerships.
