Registration & Fees

Fee Structure and Application

Fees

  • If your child is registering with Brighton & Hove Music and Performing Arts for the first time, a £5 Registration Fee is payable and will be added to your first invoice.
  • You will be invoiced termly for lessons, Music & Performing Art Centre membership and instrumental hire. Invoices are payable within 14 days. Regrettably we are obliged to withdraw tuition if bills are not paid, but we will not do this without contacting you first.
  • Because of the administration involved, if your child withdraws before lessons commence, the Registration Fee and 20% of the first term’s fee will be charged.
  • We guarantee to offer 30 instrumental lessons throughout the 38 week academic year as throughout the year teachers are engaged in other activities such as Discovery Recitals and Summer School. If you feel that this has not been achieved, please tell us in July and we will arrange a credit on your next invoice. The number of lessons offered termly may vary but will total 30 over the academic year.
  • If your child is unable to attend four or more consecutive lessons due to illness, we will credit your account.
  • If you are having trouble paying your child’s fees, we would be happy to discuss it with you. Please let us know.
