The Raven's Empire

'The Raven's Empire' is an exciting and unique collaboration between Brighton and Hove Youth Concert Band, the group Oddfellows Casino, and composer/avant garde musician Andrew Philips, (whose work involves manipulation of radio signals and other electronic phenomena). The performance will take place at 7.30pm at St Georges Church on Sunday 25th May. The concert will blend original music, composed for BHYCB as an accompaniment to the songs of Oddfellows Casino's fused with the soundscapes of Grant Newman. The performance is loosely themed around tales of the supernatural and visual elements for the event will include scenes from Cocteau's Orphee.
